Unless my memory is failing me, the last scene of the series was basically her with the Darkhold trying to figure out how to use it to get what she wanted. Based on what we learned about the Darkhold in the series, you should have at least recognized the possibility that things wouldn't go well after that.

But it's also Marvel and that last scene don't mean shit.
She created them in the 1st place, she could had used the book to learn how to do it again
And in that other witch show we learn the kids she created jumped into the bodies of other kids in her universe.

Her being a villain made no sense. Her being the villain in dr strange made even less sense
