Disney+ Marvel's Daredevil: Born Again (Season 2)

Loved the first two episodes. I like that they’re introducing the political and legal angles, it adds more depth to the show. I liked the pure vigilantism of the original series, but it did need to differentiate. I just hope they keep the raw violence of Daredevil and Kingpin at some point, which I think they will given the end of episode 2.

Did anyone notice Fisk’s knuckles being fucked up in that one scene? I think he been putting in work on the low too. And he definitely still pulling criminal moves with him blackmailing the commissioner and hiring Matt’s girlfriend as his therapist.

Starting with the actors and acting first, Charlie Cox is still as brilliant Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin nails it in every scene he's in even with a simple line of dialogue about disgust. The first 14 minutes of episode 1 delivers a gut punch. The action sequences are on point and then some from the tracking shots to how they play out visually. The CGI is a bit off in a couple of scenes .There are nice touches along the way, that include learning to smile again, and someone that makes you smile. Its amazing how a lot of these TV shows and movies truly capture and are mirror images of the world we are living in now. A person can try to bury who they truly are but something draws them back from that deep down burial and you are going to be you.

Shout out to Puerto Rico. Shout to Marvel's first Latin hero. Kingpin made a promise to the city that he insists to keep and murder is not off the table. Frank gonna come back with a vengeance on these cops masquerading as him, with his logo tatted on them
