You may think he had the best written character but his performance was not clearly better than Danai's or Lupita's.

Kilmonger had the best written and most relatable (to some) character which is why many folks gravitated towards it. The writers did a good job with most of the characters in my opinion

He wasn't wack in his performance but he wasn't really flexing any serious acting range or anything playing the character in my opinion also.

Danai did a great job in her role (which was very well written also) shit, Chadwick did a great job also. Those 2 characters had hella high's and low's and whole ideological shifts in the movie and did a great job conveying their conflicts and emotions dealing with it.
