So why, exactly, would I be wishing for MBJ and lying to myself when I say that I'm not? Make it make sense.
 
Let me read through this. And y’all probably way past this point but I thought in the comics Shuri eventually becomes the panther now I know she is not as big a star but it seems like that would make sense bloodline and all

Good point, even though I want it to happen. In my theory he doesn't become black panther immediately. He just protects Wakanda as Jaguar until he redeems himself in the third movie.
