But honestly what's your real reason for not wanting Shuri to headline the next Black Panther movie? I honestly don't think it's going to focus just on her as far as being the hero goes so that shouldn't be an issue. Is it because you feel they are getting rid of the best male black superhero representative that's touched the silver screen in a long time? I understand that gripe but I don't think they are going to permanently kill off T'Challa, I think he might be back (recasted) for the next Black Panther film with a reasonable explanation why he wasn't in this one.

Disney is just trying to navigate a very tricky situation with the passing of Chadwick Boseman. The man's death really had a massive public outcry like nothing I've seen in a long while.

I'm very excited to see what Ryan Coogler and the other writers are cooking up for the film. I hope the story is just as good as the last one and the fight choreography along with the computer generated images are better than the 1st film..

They can't have heard all the complaints and not address those two issues specifically.

We will see... lol.

I honestly have faith in Coogler and the writers room so whatever decision they choose to make with the actual story and character dialogue I'm not worrying about. Those 2 things I mentioned specifically I think are the major issues from the 1st movie and hopefully they do fix it.

They made so much money off the 1st one they may feel their built in audience is going to watch regardless.... I doubt they do feel this way but you never truly know until you see the finished product.

They need to somehow let that character fade to black and bring lupita in as storm.

Edit: bring in lashana lynch as storm.
