This and secret wars is so hyped up I don't think it's possible to not go in with high expectations

I aint read none of them joints. Only thing I know is to expect is black suit spidey at some point maybe but sony might fuck that up somehow. Outside of that im walking into this fresh

Just watched Endgame and I don’t like RDJ coming back as Doom. That was the perfect ending for his role in the MCU. Coming back as Doom cheapens that ending to me.

I’ll still watch, and probably still love it, but that will always be a problem for me.

Immediately this is how I felt, but I think theres a reason RDJ was cast. The Russos have said that fhere is a reason rdj was cast as doom and its not his acting skills. We dont have the answer, but theres something with Tony Starks sacrifice that causes this Doom to do what he does. Whether this Doom is a variant of Tony Stark or this Doom just coincidentally looks like Tony Stark, something about Tony's sacrifice made this rdj version of Doom and the Russos and feige are confident in their casting of RDJ as Doom. So I think when the movie comes out that feeling you have and I once had will be settled a bit.

We might not even see dooms face in this movie either. Could just be downeys voice and acting behind a mask the whole time.

Whatever it is though I dont think the Russos will let us down. Them and feige know what's at risk with this movie and I think RDJs casting is way more than just bringing us a familiar face afain.

I didnt see the last venom movie, but youre saying that tiny puddle of symbiote left in the MCU616 universe was somehow "taken back" in the new venom movie? If so, thats fucking wack. That was a perfect set up for black suit spidey (who first appeared in secret wars btw) and even knull to show up in the mcu one day. Hoping feige and team build on that shit.

Brand new day is a perfect opportunity to introduce us to a mcu version of Eddie Brock too. Doesn't have to be venom yet, but just knowing he exists will be good.

Already hate mcu flash thompson so I hope to god he never gets a "agent venom" arc.

Eddie/Venom were pulled into 616 along with the other two Spiderman variants, Doc Ock, Goblin, the rest of 'em. When Eddie/Venom were transported back to their universe a piece of Venom was left behind.
