Bucky is an anchor character or however it is you're describing these more known characters. He was literally Steve's right hand man who has his own movie and every storyline that involved Steve afterwards included him lol

I’m not saying they should be reintroduced, I’m just saying pigeon holing that version of the characters who haven’t been relevant for 20 years could be a mistake.

It worked for Deadpool because it was a comedy that used old characters for fanfare and comic relief. We’re expected to take these characters seriously in Doomsday.

You’re taking what I’m saying literally. You know what I mean by anchor characters when I say Stark, Cap, Thor, Thanos, Fury, etc. Bucky is a sidekick which you articulated yourself.

And when did Bucky have his own movie? You talking about the show with him and Falcon?

Why would the audience not take them seriously lol we just watched No Way Home become this massive billion dollar movie off the strength of Toby and Andrew lol
 
Its funny cause for as much shit as the Multiverse Phase has gotten, the most successful films in the phase have included multiversal elements (No Way Home, Deadpool & Wolverine, Multiverse of Madness)

Yes, in a Spider Man movie. There were built in connections. First they were all Spider Man. That connection being established, they connect to the old villains. This isn’t new X-men with old X-Men. This is new everybody with old X-men. It’s not the same.

They’re going to be fighting together and need to create chemistry with other new characters to make it compelling. They can’t just be in their own little world the whole time. And they need to do all of this in 1 movie.
