DCEU would've been in a better shape if folks like Dwayne McDuffie was running it. He wrote the best Justice League episodes and would've been a great counter to what Marvel was doing in the live action realm the last ten years.

Also besides Wandavision DC been destroying Marvel with live action TV. Watchmen is still pretty groundbreaking and won't be touched by no one in the next few years.
That's the problem.

Fiege never wrote or draw a single comic. But he was smart enough to put people in place who could.
