"Marvel Movies Are Not Cinema"- Martin Scorsese

Since Infinity War it’s been blah. Hopefully the new Spider-man can restore the feeling.
Ant-Man and the Wasp - mid
Captain Marvel - mid
Endgame - mid until the Hulk snap.
Far From Home - mid
Black Widow - mid
Shang Chi - mid
Eternals - havent seen yet.

imo, all these movies are one and done. No need or desire to rewatch none of them. Except the last battle of Endgame, none of these movies did anything to move the genre forward. Predictable and bland.

Said the above almost 2 years ago. I still stand on it and low key shit hasn’t changed.

Eternals - mid
No Way Home - mid - Green Goblin was great
Doc 2 - mid - Wanda was great
Thor 4 - mid
BP2 - mid
Antman 3 - mid
Guardians 3 - haven’t seen and wont. Characters only good in doses.

I’m just glad the world is catching on.

And on the reread, some you niggas is nuts. No way y’all should’ve been caping this hard.

This was hate but he was also right at the same time. By and large except for a few asterisks this isn't cinema it's just one neverending update.

I'm definitely experiencing a fatigue I wasn't experiencing 4 yrs ago. I wish they could have got the xmen right in time for me to sincerely give a shit but it's over lol. It's over.

Scorsese hasnt hit since 2013 w/ Wolf of Wallstreet

His past 3 been weak

Silence & Killers of Flower Moon both boring

The Irishman was alright but nobody was buying Deniros playing a man in his 30s with the cgi face
Marty hating, but Cmon now.

The Irishman was solid as a muhfucka.
