If you remove the fear and that removes the respect, it was never respect, it was fear. Real respect is present even if you aren’t afraid of the consequences of a lack of it, because it’s due to the love you have in your heart for the thing you are respecting. It’s not conditional. You can have a grandmother that raised you when you were a kid and your feared her. Now she’s old, and fragile, there’s no need to fear her. But you respect her all the same, based on the love that was cultivated between you two.

That’s why there’s so much disrespect on line and in gaming. People don’t love one another. With the consequences of their actions removed, so it’s the respect for one another.

I can see where you coming from. So the whole concept that a person may be moving fron a primitive aspect is based off of illusion to enforce respect. Same time though if a person is acting and you don't know it, what's the difference?
