Welcome To aBlackWeb

OUT NOW Lloyd Banks - The Course of the Inevitable

Probably cause a lot of tracks aren't made in the same room anymore.

They just sending beats and verses to each other

Thats been the norm for mad years now though, I cant imagine 50, Dre, Jay, Nas etc releasing an album or even a mixtape with poor audio, even though alot of the album may been made remotely...

I agree though, it could well be the issue, as I said a while ago, think it may have been the DMX Exodus thread that I miss artists not working in the studio together (making beats, writing to the beat and with the featured artists) as it makes for better chemistry and 99% time just a better track...

i think its budgets too...the interned downsized investment on ALL this shit...the front end money aint nowhere as it used to be

and it makes sense...u can make music videos wit a fone, fuck a high quality studio for a Lloyd banks

rihanna, sure! broke homie shaqon, hell nall

Nah they just got bad engineers or bad mixing/mastering,but some ppl like the kinda old school, grimey, not super shiny shit.

They got programs to put that sound on songs or like the sound of a record playing to give it that feel.

A lot of ppl low key not even mastering and 2 tracking major projects.

Wayne made classic mixtapes on tour buses with no mastering on them.

you coulda stopped after the first sentence

gtfoh with that extra moist shit you went on to say. don’t be asking about dudes kids then get on some imma approach you

What about all the 50 cent darts on this album ?

he was talking about 50 on that last song for sure and I'm sure on other songs.

In 2013 this dropped and to me it's a classic mixtape and Lloyd Banks best work by far. The follow up would be number 2 best work from Banks.

I remember I was going through a spiritual awakening during that time and wasnt listening to no rap that wasnt Christian rap at the time. That Banks project was the only hip hop w cussing on it I listened to. Shit was that good...I was like, my bad god. But this shit too fyahh lol
