What's funny about this is on the Breakfast Club Kevin Hart just said he had trouble getting his new movie released because it was produced by Weinstein's company and folks didn't want to put it out but ultimately did because the difference being that Weinstein's movies he produced, moreso his company and not even him, aren't about his crimes...it can easily be seen that R. Kelly's lyrics pretty much detail what he was doing and that's what makes people uncomfortable listening to it

Yes it matters in the context of providing a reason as to why he is the way he is, but it's not something that should be offered up as an excuse or defense because he knows the shit is wrong......and you of all people should know that in those teacher threads I was often one of the few saying "This shit is foul" and telling niggas how dumb they were for saying that shit...so my stance on this has been consistent no matter who is on the end of the abuse or who is the abuser.
