Yea that's why rugby stresses proper form and tackling. Not that football doesn't, but the fact that you have no pads means that you can't be launching yourself head and shoulders into a nigga's sternum. Yall both gon die doing that shit. If you tackle someone correctly or get tackled by someone who tackles correctly, it hurts way less.

Signed,
A bitch that got a concussion from being tackled incorrectly.

The funny thing, is that some guys are actually pushing a new football league called the A7FL with the idea that it's actually a safer way to play football. They point out that when padding came along people actually started to get more injuries because of the increased intensity of the hits. It's an interesting idea. The only problem is that the people playing haven't really seemed to adjust to safer tackling. Until they do, we're going to continue seeing things like this:

In other words somebody's gonna die.

while rugby can be physical.
i have rarely seen someone get blindsided by someone at top speed.
i hardly see rugby players reach a good speed.

i see them passing the ball down the line trying to find an opening...and when they find it...they try to plow throw with a few steps.

but with football.....try focusing on a long throw while in the crosshairs of a free or strong safety like Ronnie Lott.
i once seen christian okoye (the nigerian nightmare)get the shit knocked out of him by atwater.

I just watched "A Football Life" about him last week.

Bruh was a beast.
