Let's Be Brutally Honest

I'm still kinda at a disbelief that my ex passed.

Didn't shed any tears, but I was hurt internally by her passing. Knowing that whenever I come home, she's no longer gonna be there. Can't curse each other out. Can't get in her nerves. I'm hurt by the fact that I won't be able to see her photography career blossom.

The pics I have of her I don't look at for too long. I do miss her. Even tho we was no longer relationship material, we still had loved for each other. Hardheaded like a granite wall, but definitely one of the few people I kept in my inner circle.
 
im lowkey afraid of my own power. doesnt help that almost no one can relate, in any sense of the word. really shortens to amount of people i can talk to about it.

well personally speaking...it has for me

i think i shared this story before but i remember back in high school, a girl broke up with me b/c, and i quote...she said "you dont like to argue"

thinking back on it, i didnt realize how fucked up that was of her to say. I could put on my psych hat and try to find some deeply rooted issue, but why is arguing considered her norm? Most importantly, WTF AT 16 DO WE HAVE TO ARGUE ABOUT?!?!?

well let me say, i cant make everyone like me nor can i make anyone do anything for that matter

I am who I am at this point in my life. You may call it "non confrontational"...i call it laid back b/c my demeanor just wont allow me to give small shit and negative stuff energy. I've seen up close and personal the effects that can have on your psyche and its a miserable place to be in.

So if you are a chick and feel some type of way that i dont call you a bitch when im upset, or use any other profanities b/c you think thats what it means to be loved, then babygirl...i dont need you, and you certainly dont need me

if you a dude and be with the shits...talk is just talk...i do more listening anyway...so unless you bout to get physical, then your words are just words

I'm trying to get like this, not caring about the small stuff. Just live my life and not give a damn about anyone who has a problem with it.

the small stuff almost ALWAYS snowballs into bigger things b/c you end up getting tripped up by your own feet

like take road rage for example. yea, they were a dick for cutting you off, or tailgating you, etc...

just take a deep breath, and move out of the way, or slow down so that you dont cause an even bigger incident. It aint worth jawing at somebody in traffic b/c they wanna be a tough guy/girl behind the wheel. Every time i read about how the sales of guns have increased every year, i cant help but think that they are trickling down to folks who've never owned them before, and they are in more and more vehicles

is me trying to be tough over road rage worth potentially getting shot/shot at? nah b

i'ma still make it home. I wanna see my lil girl. She is infinitely more important than some pissing match on the highway

That's what's up,I be trying but sometimes mf'ers just irritate me. It's a process but I think I can get there.
