I think from his time in prison people forgot that he’s not really a decent artist..he got locked up really before he could show for sure that he wasn’t good

maybe people already knew this but thought that all that time locked up would have him naturally improve and he would emerge as a hot artist again with a great new skillset

Anytime I’ve seen him since he got out he’s just been dancing or flashing jewelry on social media. And the comments are always the same, “I’m happy for him and he looks happy etc” and that’s great and all but when do we stop with the honeymoon period of him being free and start holding him accountable for being a good artist?

Bobby released an ep for the first time in 8 years yesterday and barely anybody is aware of it

Somebody dropped the ball there as well. Has Bobby had a song out there on the radio at all since he’s been out? I haven’t heard or seen anything except corny dances reposted by media accounts

I’m glad dude made it out on the other side but I really wasn’t the target audience for what dude was/is trying to do.

last thing i seen from him musically was a snippet video for a song called “hoochie daddy”.

He wanna be Megan Thee Stallion so bad.
 
once artist go prison its hard to get back hot. name some rappers that went to prison and made it back on the charts? the rap game is fast pace its on next.
 
bobby aint trying to be the best rapper out here and if his music aint for you keep it moving . i think everyone knew bobby wasnt the strongest rapper when he started it was always rowdy.

idk if we can just say we expected this but when you were mystified by your prison sentence it puts a magnifying glass on you when you come out and one can say he’s not exactly living up to it

but you could be right that we shouldn’t have expected much when your hit song was taking a beat from a Lloyd banks song and then just essentially out everybody in the crew but make it catchy

Buddy been trash I think you right; he got locked up before ppl can really see that. Him going to prison when he did masked the fact he isn’t talented at all

I saw a clip of him talking shit about producers charging $1000 for a beat. I was confused. I remember dudes selling beats for $100-$500 in the hood 10-15 years ago. $1000 is a lot for a major artist?

$1k is cheap for his name. that $1k tells he is not working with mainstream producers. imagine ATL Jacob, Gordo or metrobooming working for $1k, mainstream producers are asking $20k - $100k.

meek, gucci, kodak, wayne, tupac, t.i , fat joe/remy ma (all the way up, came out after they got out)

that’s just off top of my head, i’m sure there’s more

i get what ur saying but their a difference between 1-2 years and 7 years. but at the end of the day its all on him. what ever his dropping aint taking off. i havent heard nothing his dropped and wont be.
