He aint in my top 20, but I fuck with Red. U can't deny the influence he's had on alot of the rappers in the game.

Redman doesn't have the reach TI has/had

Both are cool among they peers but TI always stood alone or above peers where as Red, to me, always played second to his friends (EPMD, Method, Def Squad)

Redman doesn't have the commercial success as TI

Lyrically I think TI better, but I could also concede at times Redman is better. So let's say depending on day and subject matter

TI has a better discography

TI is more influential

Not knocking Red. I chose vet but if he a legend, cool. He get busy. But TI gets busier

I mean, yeah it's all subjective and what a person likes

Again, I have no outrageous objection to seeing Redman as a legend cause he is nice and has influence.

But it just so happened to be on the same day TI thread was made and for me I know TI a legend so......I don't get it

- One of the few hip-hop artists that has released arguably 3 consecutive classics in a row (Whut Thee Album?, Dare Iz A Darkside and Muddy Waters)

- Witty sense of humor and punchlines

- Dope features / collabos with artists from outside the Tri-State area (8 Ball, MC Eiht, Cypress Hill, etc)

- Like Slick Rick, he changed his voice differently when "in character" so it would lyrically help paint the picture
