Here's my thought process, if you're part of a legendary duo, ala OutKast, UGK, Mobb Deep, Gang Starr, Clipse, 8Ball & MJG, etc.
Both members hold status of a legend, not just the duo they were a part of. That's my opinion, completely understand if you don't share that same thought process.
Concerning the Pimp though, classic albums as a member of UGK, a great solo album, and heavy influence throughout hip hop makes him a legend to me.
