But are yall taking into consideration his impact on the game and him being the reason there is at least a little screw on most contemporary hiphop albums

they're not....every hook or verse has a chopped up echo in the back ground or some kinda screw influence

but its hard to know what you hearing if you never heard the shit to begin with

Mixtape awards lol

Congrats to him.

thats cool mane.....everybody's entitled.....

I give the Big L's and Dillas their credit due, based on how their area loves them....they are legends to me

did I EVER hear either anywhere other than the internet, ever? no...absolutely not

Dilla's a bad compariosn cuz he mainly a producer and I'm sure you heard some Dilla tracks before he died.

Runnin
Breathe And Stop
The Light
Didin't Cha Know

i probably heard those songs but never knew who Dilla was

I didnt know that name until Bun B said it and then I found out he was dead

but I looked into him and saw the love he had out there

i aint crazy tho I hear ya'll on the local tip

just the fact that this was a guy in his garage, making mix tapes for him and his homies to ride to

and we're here discussing whether he's a hip hop legend or not, 17+ years after his death

thats fuckin legendary

Niggas claiming he a legend but no screw music ever get posted on here.

I didnt see not ONE Lauren Hill or Too short song posted prior to these legend threads

current play on ABW has nothing to do with any of this lol

Hill is the greatest female rapper of all time and up there with the men.

Only a handful of ppl outside of Houston area bump S&C tapes.

Dude impact probably bigger than I’m thinking due to production but right now I don’t see.

Screwed up Click gets my props but that’s where it stops.

I’m do some more research about his impact though.

I only used her as an example of being able to be legendary even if nobody is posting your songs on ABW threads all day
