Right before this they said "Ginnias wouldn't even make a layup in the 80s". This is the ridiculous shit players are talking about.

Steph wouldn't be jacking up the amount of three point shots in the 70's, 80's and 90's so they might be right
Steph would play the way they did in that era, the past era wasn't jacking up double digit three point shots. Offenses wasn't run that wayIf players are going under screens then he's firing up probably even more 3s
They also weren't jacking up 3s like they are doing now when he first came into the league so I think it's safe to say he still would be the same guy regardless of eraSteph would play the way they did in that era, the past era wasn't jacking up double digit three point shots. No he wouldn'tSteph would average 30 and 10 in the 80s
He's wrong probably 40 10 if most games were competitiveNo he wouldn't
It's hard to even say that Steph woulda overcame his ankle injuries in the 80's. A lot of those 80's players had shorter careers for a reason. Sports medicine was lacking back in the day.

I agree with that comment about Steph. Not so much that he couldn't score a lot back then, but I do think they would have tried to hurt him. Especially in the 80s.
I mean if your only defense to stopping somebody is "I gotta hurt him" then that kinda proves the point of the people on the side of "players today would dominate". I mean saying you gonna rough up Steph is one thing. That fool talking about Giannis not getting layups like a nigga that size playing with them rules wouldn't have been more dangerous than the some of the older players talking shit.
I'm not really sure how that means players today would dominate. It was just an option they had back in the day, so they used it. And yes, Giannis would have had a much harder time playing his game with a clogged lane than he would in today's league. He'd still be good though, especially now that he has a decent mid-range game developing.
