Killarmy, Sunz of Man, Wu Renegades, Cappadona and Shyheim>>>>>>>>>Mo Thugs

Ghost, Rae, Meth, ODB, Rza and Gza solo albums>>>>>>>>Layzie, Krayzie, Wish, Soup, T, Jaw, Back, Funny and Bizzy Bone albums...annnd TASHA

:lol10:

Y’all disrespectful

Bro...you a Bone fan...pause lol....for tha most part I’m just talkin’ shit to be an asshole...niggaz free to like who they like...I’ve always been a proponent of that because for most of my late teen years until now I’ve been in SC as a devout NY/East Coast biased af “hip-hop head”...and wasn’t NOBODY down here EVER gonna make me change my radio ....so I get it nh...I do lol...

But I’m completely serious when I’m talkin about complete “entities” as far as Wu v BTH as bein’ nowhere even close concerning music, catalogs, dope songs, impact, etc etc

And of course as always this is just MY opinion

Like I said I'm not much of a Bone Thugs fan, but this song had everybody on it and they killed it.

This is the U-Neek remix, not the Easy Moe B version

After I posted The Points, this song came up on Youtube. I have to admit I like it.

I guess Bone is better than I give them credit for.

I think the problem I have is they rap so fast that I can't really make out the lyrics, but they're good at it. In contrast, Wu Tang raps slower and I can make out what they're saying, but their slang is so heavy that sometimes I can't understand what they're saying either.

This is kinda regional. Yes both groups are worldwide famous far from local. But groups like Bone Thugs which signed by Eazy E to me represent the opposite of East Coast rap at the time. And I think it was part of the appeal. I think that’s why the West Coast blew up and into the Midwest and the South and they have a wide appeal. And East Coast rap fans are elitist if we being serious.

Brooklyn cats (at least the ones I knew) rocked with BTNH. A lot of dudes I rapped with learned to rap fast from them, Twista and Crucial Conflict. The thing with BTNH is that on a national level they were placed in the same category as Coolio, Arrested Development, Naughty By Nature and other 90s rap acts the mainstream public embraced a little too quickly... niche artists that don't get praise outside their biggest hits and some might consider one hit/album wonders. Granted, we have our own identity and tastes which stemmed from having to cultivate our own sound... but trust me when I say we loved all that shit.

My personal top 2 rap groups all time for diff reasons. Ghost in my top 5 tho. But I'm not picking one over the other I'd love to see that verzuz tho.
