Some one gonna throw a rock at you. Janet got some ride or die fans on here
i voted for Lauryn due to the love affair i had with her back in the 90's
shorty dropped one of the greatest albums of all time.... she was great in sister act...was part of a legendary group 9in the 90's)
and jsut had the kinda music i felt was essential for our people.....
but i feel like she pulled a lupe with the fans.....
i don't know what the fuck happened that she couldn't keep giving us what she gave us in 98....
but i never loved anything janet did as much as i loved miseducation...
janet is a legend and a goat in her own rights... but imma be biased due to how much i loved lauryn.....
lauryn can only get knocked out by like kels or mjb..

Lauryn got 1 hot album and a good album if you count unplugged. Janet been dropping hit after hit since the early 90's into the mid 2000's. Show her some damn respect.

Yeah. I don't think her voice is all that great. Jimmy Jam and Terry are a big reason why she blew also as they did lace her with hits. I was just never blown away by her singing them songs.Hold up you think her acting is better than her music?
Can't say I ever owned a Janet album tbh with you. She not seeing Lauryn. Like at all
Miseducation is probably better than any single Janet album.
But Janet's collective works trump that ONE great album.
We been through this already. Janet got hits for days.
Janet's listed as a writer on all her albums (at least the ones we're suppose to count)
Make sure you have those same critiques for someone like.. say Beyonce

However, Janet is my go to playlist when I'm flying. For whatever reason, her music takes my mind off of plummeting to my death.
Plus her selection is much larger with a variety of songs to choose from.
L Boogie is a Goddess for her message and consciousness. I would definitely choose her character/personality over Janet's

Truth, but L- Boogie had help writing hers as well and didn't give credit where due which is why she was sued.
