large age gap between children

a lady i work with gave birth to her 2nd child a few months ago... she's 34 & married...only problem is they(her & her husband) also have a 16y/o daughter....a 16 year difference in between is insane.... anybody in here have a large gap in between your kids?

I have a cousin the same age as I am. Her youngest sister is 25 years younger than her.

My great grandmother on my moms side had 8 or 9 kids, pretty sure the gap between the oldest and the youngest was crazy.

I knew someone with a 4 year that had siblings old enough to get in the club. Jit had nieces older than him.

My grandfather remarried after having 5 kids with my grandmother. The kids he had with his new wife were my age.

We called his wife aunt and their kids cousin. I don’t know who came up with that, but maybe somebody thought we’d find it strange to call someone our age uncle and aunt.

My brother have 7 kids. My 30 year old niece is 26 years older than my youngest niece (4). But here's the kicker. My 30 year old niece have twin boys thats 9. So her little boys are older than their aunt lol

This sounds like they were young parents then waited before having another. Thats pretty damn smart tbh. There was only a 3 year gap between me and my older brother but it was a 10 year gap between him and our youngest. It really all depends on how the older siblings react. One of my good friends has 2 younger sisters and his parents had another boy when he was 21. He'd always wanted a little brother so they've always been super close.
