Kool G Rap has completed his next full length album, tentatively titled Last of A Dying Breed. This is the legendary Juice Crew member's first album since 2018s Son Of G Rap with 38 Spesh, and his first solo album since 2017s Return Of The Don. This project features AZ, Big Daddy Kane, NEMS and Royal Flush and is executive produced by The National Hip Hop Museum.

“The National Hip Hop Museum has forged a relationship with label Ewing Athletics," NHHM founder Jeremy Beaver told ROCK THE BELLS. "Coming off the heels of Rakim’s sneaker deal, label owner Dave Goldberg and I saw an opportunity to record, revive and reinvigorate one of the greatest MCs in the history of Hip-Hop through his first album in five years."

The album will be produced by Domingo, and is due in August with physical copies including vinyl due in the fall.

Kool G Rap is revered as one of Hip-Hop's all time greatest lyricists and is mentioned often in G.O.A.T. conversations. The Queens native released a string of classic singles including "Rikers Island" and "Poison" alongside DJ Polo. His debut full length album Road To The Riches and his guest appearance on the iconic posse cut "The Symphony" announced him as one of Hip-Hop's lyrical heavyweights, as the duo went on to deliver one of Hip-Hop's most acclaimed album runs. Recognized as one of a pillar of mafioso rap, G Rap would split from Polo after 1992s Wanted: Dead Or Alive, with G Rap releasing 1995s 4,5,6 and continuing to ongoing critical acclaim as a solo artist.
