I'm going to stay off IG for the rest of the day. Seeing Kobe and his daughter got a nigga in his feels mane.

Ironically I was never a big Kobe fan because he turned down Duke to go the NBA lol smh. Buthis work ethic and the way he carried himself made me respect him and the way he fathered his kids made it even more solid. RIP to the good brother and especially RIP to the two angel's who lost their lives as well.
 
You know what sucks? TNT has a double header Tuesday night. Celtics at Heat and Clippers at Lakers. Dwyane Wade makes his official TNT debut as an analyst and Shaq will be in studio as well. It’s gonna be sad
 
Yeah just went through this thread from start to finish after hearing about the initial news.......
Even more heartbreaking to find out this his daughter was allegedly one of the victims of this terrible tragedy....

One thing I can say is that there seems to be a lot of rumors/misinformation following initial news like this (e.g. his wife and daughters weren't on the helicopter, then rick fox and his daughter was but supposedly on board but apparently not, now most recently Kobe's daughter Gigi was on board etc), so I'm going to remove myself from this specific thread and social media like others on here have said too for the next couple of days.

Once things have settled, it would be good if someone can PM me to tell me exactly what's what on this terrible news (or drop me a credible link) because I don't need my emotions being played with on this.

All I can say is that I didn't want to believe it when it first broke, but the reports on the Black Mamba seem to be true.

Kobe...You are a legend in the game of basketball, a legend in the world of sport and an inspiration to many folks across the world

Although it shames me to say this U know I’m always thinking bout business .... the waiver is with the helicopter company..... not the Bryant family

I regret seeing the Nipsey shooting when it was released. Wasn't the biggest fan of homie music but I respected his hustle and his vision on what he tried to do for his community. I wanted to remember that guy and not the one gun down like some stray dog.

I say that to say, while I wasn't the biggest Kobe fan as a player, dude was apart of the favorite sport I loved for 20 damn years and his impact on the NBA was tremendous.

I don't wanna see any footage of the crash.

Kobe was/is my favorite athlete of alltime. Been in a million kobe vs mj/lebron debates. This whole day is surreal. I've gotten multiple calls cuz mfs know how big of a kobe fan I am, even my bestfriend who's in prison called me lol

@Hellczar I'll change the background image when I get home. That was a good idea.
