i like that analogy, but rapping is the sport = basketball. they play different positions
 


lol the answer is Beans...Thought is better technically but Beans got better records, got that heartfelt shit that hit different...pause. got on records with Jay and Scarface and more than held his own.

What black thought has, is a very verbose way in terms of how he raps. Concerto of a desperado, explains what I’m talking about. Specifically the first verse. Especially when he rhymes those words that end with ER. He’s super nice, but he isn’t really a punchline rapper per se.

Beans is beans. He’s made better songs than Tariq, obviously. I don’t think you can go wrong with either but I think Tariq is always gonna get the nod because of the style in which he rhymes.
