I had to run this back yesterday.
I don’t this album doesn’t pass the whip test, but this might be the most creative album in the last 15 years, right next to 4:44 and 36 Seasons.
I haven’t heard a soul tackle the shit Kendrick does - especially the topic of LGBTQ relationships in the black community when it comes to religion.
This is the best I’ve ever heard Kodak, too, especially on that Rich Interlude.
