Preacher Man sounds NOTHING like Last Donut of the Night tho?? You talkin about a 3 second vocal clip Dilla layered in at the end, that's different than speeding it up and letting it breathe like he did.

And i didn't even notice the Cortex sample in Circles until you pointed it out lol. But see he chopped it up and layered that in there with the drums. That's a creative flip - my argument against it would be that touching Cortex AT ALL as a hip-hop producer in 2026 is corny because they've been done to death. Alchemist wouldn't be caught dead touching a Cortex record now lmao. Truth be told I heard that sample first on Kush & Orange Juice anyway because Dangerdoom was the only DOOM record I liked until 2012.

Lol no MY sample complaint is him flipping the same Cissy Houston joint that Nic Craven already smashed to pieces with Ransom....

When I hear that sample I immediately think Dilla
Same w the MF Doom joint

Them shits are stamped in the culture no need to touch them samples again
