This is true.
That's my point. Just cuz an artist is an older act doesn't automatically make them better. That's a pattern I'm noticing in this tournament, I understand nostalgia plays a part, but people have to be mindful of that. People act as if it's impossible that a younger artist can be better than someone who came decades before them.
Yea rihanna is still in her prime, it's early to call her a legend, but if she retired today, she would go down as a legend easily, same with Chris.

I get what you're sayin tho. Older doesn't mean better, but in most of these cases, the older artist seems better. Honestly, it's just what we personally prefer to listen to or more/less of a fan of. Im not basing my choices on accolades or popularity. Im selecting from my own personal taste and who I actually listen to.
My reason on why I chose Sade had nothing to do with her being a "legend" tho and again, Luther is not Sade.

Yes Chris Brown being able to dance his ass off gives him a huge advantage. Most great performers, naw scratch that. ALL of the greatest performers are up there dancing their asses off on that stage. And on the subject of writing! My dude, lol google all the songs Chris has written. He's written most of his hits and hits for several other singers as well. And ACTING ain't got nothin to do with this, we talkin about RnB and on a musical stand point. BUTTT if we are speaking on the acting tip Chris acted in several different movies. He ain't much of an actor but he tried hell lmao
