She sold records and tours at the height of her brother's fame and was strongly independent from him

Mike even later in his career had to ask Janet and her producers (Flyte Tyme) for a feature on his album (Scream)

Mary’s first two albums are better than anything Janet has put out but the rest of her catalogue is trash

Whenever I see MJB on someone's tracklist, I know the song is gonna be ass. Aside from a few gems, that is. IE. You're All I Need, Be Without You, Can't Knock The Hustle
