I might not be the best person to ask this

Maybe it's irrational and not based in 100% fact but I believe black people created everything and the only talent white people had was coming in and stealing it either outright or trying to co-opt it.

I'm not saying there aren't white people who legitimately love and appreciate the blackness of music and they just want to contribute to that.

I do not believe that's what's happening in this particular case. Could I be wrong? Maybe. But I also dgaf

First, let me be clear, I'm not defending this dude specifically. I don't know anything about him or what he's about, so he could be on some straight culture vulture type stuff.

I'm not just of the opinion that any artform should be locked behind race. I think as long as due respect is given to the originators and the culture itself, anybody should be allowed to participate.

Based on what I know about Harlow he doesn't seem like a culture vulture to me he just a nerdy white dude from Kentucky that loves black music.

There is literally videos of him at 12 years old rapping and shit. Also he has a deadpan troll joking thing he been doing since he came in. Shit just back fired like crazy lol.
