He didn’t have to make it about street niggas vs not. There is an influx of rappers in the generation AFTER the blog era cats. Post 2015. That’s talented but you can see the lack of life experience in the music and/or they are not charismatic like they had to move around outside. That’s why I feel like many of the guys that can rap in that group are stuck in no man’s land. The only ones that did kinda pop are the street ones that can rap.

Cyhi can feel how he feels but my goodness does it sound kinda dumb…considering that he was signed to a college dropout that wasn’t a street dude…..and as if that particular college dropout wasn’t responsible for influencing a whole generation that we are seeing now.

Besides, as cop technology gets better and as time goes on, I expect to see less lyrical street rappers. This is the flock camera/rico/indictment era. Folks from the era in the 80s didn’t have to jump thru as many hoops to not get caught. These new niggas is getting caught. The raps ain’t seeing the light of day.
