On first listen not a big fan of Disc 29. Not bad but not great

Disc 39 is why we here and honestly he could have just given us Disc 39 as opposed to doing a double album

Yea

he can fall off & retire after this album

waited yrs for it to be lackluster

he can rap but I've never really been that interested in his albums

jus stick to killin features from here on out

I've listened to it twice front to back. I can't say I'm disappointed. AT ALL

I also have tempered reactions to how a lot of people feel because they will always have bias from the jerry springer beef.

Disc 29 seemed like he was trying to do his version of GKMC but Cole doesn't have enough of his own life experiences to pull it off

I immediately thought of takeover with some of the stuff he was saying

Nigga, you ain't live it you witnessed it from your folks pad
You scribbled in your notepad and created your life

And I love Cole but some of these bars don't come off as genuine

At least there's a couple people out there who like it

In one album we got:

Diet version of Nas' "Rewind"
Tyler Perry's version of " One Love"
Logic's version of " I Used to Love Her"
He took the concept of 3K's verse on "What A Job" on "Quik Stop"
Then you got this:

forgot 1

he also borrowed from Mr. Bigg too on Two Six

The only skip I've come across is the let out.

Really feels out of place. Definitely could have left that one off.

Or if anything, Lonely At The Top could have been the last song on disc 1 and The Let Out should have been a bonus track.
