Ingrid dumb as hell too.. lol i did chuckle at that part cuz pennywise had the itis and she woulda been home free if she aint get too familiar. Fuck her.

Im wondering if Halloran is going to be able to put some of those spirits back in their boxes

Fuck Lilly

All this shit happened because of her little crazy ass.

If this fog/mist shit plays into the old AMC Mist series I’m going to be pissed.

Fuck that stupid assed weird assed series.

Damn this was an intense dope ass episode!! This one of the best episodes of a series I’ve seen, sheesh. And looking at the next ep preview shit is going to be just as crazy.

Pennywise new look with the blood mask and all red clothes is fire.

The gore and horror was amped up big time and done really well. Pennywise put in major work.

Halloran still the best non-IT character in the show.

IT was drawn to the Pennywise character because he attracted kids and kids have the most fear so he prefers to eat them. Makes sense based on how Pennywise lured in kids in the movies.

The military angle to release fear seemed a bit far fetched but I’m not mad at it. Military back then in all countries was doing some wild shit.

They fit gore, horror, the supernatural, a teenage love story, civil rights, military corruption, and all in a single episode. Brilliant.

Do I have some face, on my face? Lmao that shit had me cracking up.
Man Pennywise was in rare form in this shit. He even had Halloran shook to his core. In other IT scenes he’s come off scary, but he was straight menacing in this one.

I think I said it at the beginning, IT got soft in old age cause this shit he pulling is diabolical.

To see y'all hype this series up really makes me want to watch it but when I already know the ending I hate watching prequels. I appreciate backstorys because King's books be all other place sometimes and from what I'm hearing from the thread this does really well connecting his books to one universe similar to MCU.

Have that connected Firestarter and Carrie to this series yet?

I think there’s been Easter eggs to a bunch of shit but only a few direct connections like Shawshank prison.

I think I said this before. Even though it’s a prequel it’s not with the same characters from the movies, at least not the kids who are the focal point. Think about it not as a prequel but a deep dive into Derry and IT, adding a lot more context.

And if for nothing else watch it to see Halloran’s story, who ends up being the black man in The Shining that helps the kid. Dude playing Halloran is killing it.

I thought they were gonna reveal that he was abusive towards his daughter Ingrid but he actually loved her; he was still dealing with the grief of having his wife pass away. It acually makes her longing to see her father again incredibly sad despite the shit she would do to see Pennywise.

What i really like about this series is that they include some adults and how they acted. The movies didnt really get into the lives of the adults, outside the Loser club. As im reading the book, the adults are mentioned alot. Some were aware of the high violence that happens every 27 years in Derry. They just didnt know what was causing it. I like how the series goes into that.

I doubt they will. They can't link everything outside of easter eggs.

Stephen king's son, Joe Hill, ain't no slouch with his creativity either. He has a few books turned movies and tv shows as well. Black Phone being one of them.

Im glad they didnt turn Halloran into a coward and he went back. I thought he was gonna leave them kids behind for a minute 😬
