So the general was a kid that's interacted with Pennywise and then left and forgot but then came back. Is he chasing after Pennywise because he remembers or will doing this make him remember later and probably get killed

Yeah I wonder if he actually remembers that incident yet. And if he does, has he connected that incident to what he’s looking for now.

Im curious about how Pennywise is able to fuck with them from a distance like he's been doing. in the flashback there seemed to be a clear line where IT couldnt come past.

The military were flying over the forest, not Derry when Hallorann got caught up 🤔

He did that in the movies. That's how he was able to get "the losers" to come back to Derry after they grew up.

You're right. They made a pact as kids to return if he returned. Pennywise tried to use his powers to keep them away
I don't remember clearly but did Pennywise use his powers when they were in Derry or outside of Derry in the movie?

Like Inori I'm trying to figure out the limits of his powers they placed in the show

I’m thinking the dig they’re doing is somehow releasing the power, which is why it can stretch so far.

Or, and probably more likely, the natives knew how to set a boundary he can’t cross.

He didn’t use it outside of Derry to my recollection.

Could have been on the more rural side of Derry. The native lady seemed to say they were outside of Derry though so idk.

I figure the military is going to release his power

Good point with the natives

Pennywise is physically in Derry and never stepped outside of it in the movies. But his mental powers has reached outside of Derry in the movie when he spoke to the bully in the insane asylum . He didnt have control of the bully but had a telepathic link.

I thought the insane asylum was in Derry. And IT did show up at the asylum in the form of the bully’s dead best friend.

And he somehow gave the bully his old knife too in the asylum.

Now i need to rewatch the movie. I thought the asylum was outside of derry.

Seems like this show is showing more of pennywise's power. I do agree that the forest was still Derry.

I wont say but I believe I know why pennywise doesnt go past the forest. The book explains but the movies never went into full detail i dont believe. I wonder if the show will use the books explanation or create their own explanation. Either way, im fine. All this nee material is dope already.

Only 3 eps and this is already my favorite Stephen King adaptation. I probably seen 90% of his work turned into a series or movie.

I went down the rabbit hole.... So homie from the The Stand and Pennywise are brothers and their father is homie from The Tower?

I don't really know I've only read IT and another book called The Body (which I didn't finish)

If you are talking bout the main villain in the stand, Randall flagg, then they are not related. Flagg was born human then became an immortal sorcerer. Pennywise was always a cosmic being.

Randall flagg goes by many names and faces. He can shapeshift. He is the same villain as dude in The dark Tower. He serves the Crimson King. The dark tower movie didnt touch on the Crimson King at all. To much to do in one movie.

Ahh ok..... There's a video I saw that the crimson king is the father of Pennywise and Flagg. If I find it I'll post it
