Living in DMV it's hard AF to get a job because most IT/cyber security jobs requires a Security Clearance.

Do any of y'all who have a IT job have a GitHub? Been trying to work on projects to upload so I can add to my resume.

I have a GitHub but have never used it lol

Hell no. .I left my old role to take a role as head of Project Management at a Telecom construction company. This role is cool for now but myself and some colleagues have been talking for a few months to start our own company. It'll be a company that's a one stop shop for IT/Telecom/Engineering hopefully we can get that running in late 2025 or early 2026.

I already have my own company but I let that fall to the side because I was so busy with my old job but this new role I can move around a lot more.
 
Interviewing for 2 jobs from the same recruiter, right now. He had me interviewing for a job earlier in the summer that was $100,000, but the company pulled the job after I interviewed. Turns out that the guys at the job were upset about not having a hybrid schedule and were threatening to leave for other jobs. They started interviewing people and were seriously considering hiring me, and then the CEO gave them the hybrid schedule that they wanted.

I was a pawn basically.

These two new jobs are worth around $130,000, and they're trying to move quickly. Same recruiter. He's been focused on trying to place me in one of these roles. It would be a huge get for both of us.
