The biggest difference is that Wayne's last album was a huge hit, even if it was 7-8 years ago. everyone else's last album(s) weren't even half as succesful as the Carter 4. If you go out on top then you'll be welcomed back with open arms, but if you go out when no one cares, who is gonna care when you say you're coming back?

Nah unfortunately. People been anticipating this Wayne album for years and all the bullshit he had to go through was all the promo dude needed to keep fans interested in his music.

Jeezy just dropped an album last year that went unnoticed. We'll see with T.I and his latest album but 50, Luda and especially DMX the run is over and will never be restarted
