.. do what Wayne just did and come back to the game and be on top?

50?
Luda?
Tip?
Jeezy?
DMX?

The only one I think can come back on top is Andre 3000

Nah unfortunately. People been anticipating this Wayne album for years and all the bullshit he had to go through was all the promo dude needed to keep fans interested in his music.

Jeezy just dropped an album last year that went unnoticed. We'll see with T.I and his latest album but 50, Luda and especially DMX the run is over and will never be restarted

I liked Ludas last album but im pretty sure im the only one who listened to it.

The whole list in OP is washed. Their time been up. Waynes fanbase never left him. He just couldnt drop.

So its an unfair comparison to me

Nah because Wayne was/is a household name.

The anticipation for this album plus being in the social media era played to his advantage. No one wanted to be the one left out. And even if they only heard on song they could post about it and get reactions from others.

That's crazy tho, all those mfs in the OP (other than X) came out after Wayne.

But music is all that Wayne has. Those others went to Hollywood and started that part of their careers and we all know X went to crack. Music not their main focus.

Wayne dropped an album like 3 years ago that was trash as fuck. Wayne fans don’t even acknowledge that shit.

What is the definition of being "on top" that is being used as the premise of this thread?
