I see a lot of people who feel Alc is the best in the game right now and had an MVP year in 2025, then I see other people saying he fell off.


Which one is it?
 
I been seeing both also. I guess some don't like his recent style of beats. But Alc been making his case as one of the GOATs. He put in too much quality work since like 98.
 
Mercy, GOLDFISH, Alfredo 2, Life is Beautiful, The Skeleton Key......this is falling off? This dude's been pumping out multiple classic albums every year since Covert Coup basically
 
Ive always thought ppl overrated Alchemist production

Hes not trash to me... hes just not mind blowing. His production gets the job done but nothing amazing. Serviceable.

That said i do think he got a case for hiphop mvp of 2025. If the Badu album woulda dropped it woulda been for sure.
 
Hes one of the top current producers for sure.

The drumless shit is cool here and there, but im kind of burnt out on it.
