Is 4:44 The Best Album In The Past 5 Years?

I'm not mad at those 3 being considered the best 3 albums of the past 5 years.
They not MY personal favorites

But im sayin those would prolly top 3 if u polled a large pool of hip hop fans

To me...

The Life of Pablo > 4:44

And Daytona was not even top 20 of the last 5 years.

And I said last year that Victory Lap was a top 5 album of the last 5 years

Dot got two albums better alone.

2nd half of the album is too slow and meh(there’s a dip after Bam)

It’s a good album but best of the last 5 years? When Dot dropped 2 of the best ever? Daytona is a much more enjoyable album. Hov got busy busy on 3 tracks at most. Stop it man

Luca Brasi 3 is better
Church in these streets is a better album
Pablo is better
untitled is better
4yeo is better
2014FHD is better

Don’t disrespect what K Dot is doing. He’s on a all time great run. You could legitimately ask if it was the 3rd best and answer still be no. I hold Hov in high regard but 444 is basic as fuck with the messaging and he did it better on RD and he ain’t getting busy enough to disrespect the younger legends

TPAB /Damn is 444 on steroids

Kevin Gates would eat Hov on a track in 2019

Damn
2014FHD
4:44

Are the top 3 defining hip hop albums of the past half decade

The themes of Damn and 4:44

And FHD is Cole officially crossing over to Valhalla as a God MC

Me personally I like 4:44 but I relate more to the subject matter.

It’s some niggaz in here niggin’ right now lol

4:44 might not be tha best in tha past 5 but it’s pretty close...K Dot might have 1 (DAMN) and possibly 2 (TPAB) better and Cole comes in right behind (FHD) Jay...but just tha simple fact that’s it’s up for discussion and he’s really competing against his like 3rd or 4th generations of MCs should show everyone out there that Jay’s tha GOAT...I really can’t understand how this is still debated

i don't think it's better than damn, but they are the best two off the top of my head
