Like I said b4, post Black Album he was putting out trash minus AG. So when he reverted back to form w/ 4:44 it got over praised.

It's a good album but it ain't even cracking Jay's top 5 albums, it barley cracks the top 10.

I would agree with not cracking his top 5 , cuz that's an incredible top 5. It's easily top 10 tho.


But you make an interesting point that might need to be it's own thread. Has Hov been mediocre/trash since The Black Album?

Euro Jay was quite bad but Uncle Jay been killin' features for years

I have no beefs with it being placed top shelf but i wouldnt call it the clear choice for best album.
