One day the world will have an honest conversation about Japan.

Obviously a populist party winning any election isn't ideal but Japan is practically a one party system in the last 70 years the LDP has held power for 64 years.

Any populists party winning will continue to make the country irrelevant and on the verge of wiping out many small towns

Why do you think that about populist parties? A populist party is just one that focuses on the desires and concerns of the citizens.

That's how they sell themselves but history has shown us that's not the case.

We need more politicians globally to live by the idea of political suicide. Let's use Japan as an example they are losing historical villages because the demographics there are just too old and reluctant to change, young people are moving to major cities people. The village are on the path to extinction, yet the thought of "outsiders" is somehow worse thing in the world to them and the populists parties pander to that.
