They wasn’t my threads but I guess some of this is news to me because I wasn’t raised to know anything about racism. That’s just something I saw as I was older.
I mean we didn’t get treated the best either and we still don’t but as far as being aware of it most of my life, nah my parents nor family members never spoke on it.
I mean the first time I really heard anything on it was when I was dating this black dude and he told me his grandpa didn’t like Mexicans.
Just like with school I didn’t know the stuff I learned in history was all lies.
Idk if that made me gullible or just unaware of the truth.
I was clueless to that type of stuff until I got older and started to understand.
But I’m sure even now I have lots to learn on how bad things were in the past.

I appreciate her honesty to a degree but she was doubling down on topics that even she admits, she had no previous knowledge of.

Instead of having a seat to learn, she insisted those things don't happen
