One day I stroll in there around lunch and saw the prices on combos and caught a serious case of sticker shock. When did the prices go up so fuckin much? You can get a better burger and fries at a sit-down diner for less.

I pretty much only eat out from actual restaurants now. My stomach can't handle the over processed fast food shit anymore. Plus it all tastes gross now.

Mcdonalds counts on you not really paying attention till you have to pay, thats how they get you.

A few years ago my lil cousin, when she was young, would want nuggets from mcdonalds. She was a lil kid at that time and just wanted 4 piece nuggets and maybe a small fry or drink. I was is the drive thru line waiting and finally get to try and order just for the lady to say they dont sell that anymore. She said the smallest they have is the 6 piece now. I'm like w/e let me get the 6 piece and a fry. When I get to the window, i was like "WTF" when she told me my total was like $7 something for those two things. How they force you to order two more nuggets then more than double the price of he whole thing.

Mcdonalds counts on their customers being loyal so they can quietly exploit them, with no shame. If you pay attention, they're always switching shit around, and renaming things to charge you more for less. Its not even cheap fast food anymore but people keep going cuz its a habit.

I'm sure the driving force for this is share holders complaining they arnt seeing a certain amount of growth each and every quarter, no matter what.
