Sure, there are some pyschopaths out there that would press Red in hopes of killing a bunch of people, but that is unquestionably a minority of people. The only reason Blue is a risky choice is because people's selfishness often overrides their logic. Many will prioritize their own safety by picking Red even though thinking like that is the only reason there is any risk at all.

I wouldn’t call selfish for folks saving themselves first and foremost and also this world is wicked so people will push red so that adds to their total.

This entire world is watching folks getting murdered all over the world and nothing is being done so the red button is already pressed if you think about it.

This is not true at all. We're not going to act like standing up to a government that has already demonstrated that it's ok with murdering its own citizens is the same as pushing a button.

This is an interesting flip. I think the logic does change at that point. Getting 90% of any group of people to agree on anything is almost impossible. At that point, everybody should just choose red. If that happened everyone would live. Push Blue no longer makes sense when you know its impossible to reach the threshold.
