I don't know what I would do, but it's been a thorn in my mind ever since I learned about the vast extent of Soviet Espionage following World War 2. There are a lot of kooky conspiracy theories about certain disciplines, like gender studies, being invented by Soviet interests to oppose American Imperialism. A lot of the stupid leftist nonsense I see in my own field, sociology, has me scratching my head and really wondering about those worries sometimes. It would be cool to know the actual extent of that communist/socialist influence during the cold war so I can better understand the political divisions that exist in modern universities, and also make better judgements about whether or not certain radical views are even worthy of the charitable interpretations we extend to them out of scholarly courtesy

I get that but here's the thing I never get with winning the lotto/Powerball/Mega Millions:
How do you NOT create generational wealth with that much money?
Here's what I mean...
PowerBall and Mega Millions both have a bare minimum jackpot of $40M. Lets' say you won that $40M and take the cash out option. You'll end up with about $22M. Uncle Sam will hit you for 38% off top and then whatever your state taxes are with will leave you with about $10M-$11M depending on where you live.
As long as you don't sit there and act like an idiot blowing it on exotic cars, drugs, hoes, Gucci belts, and a mansion, generational wealth is right there in front of you; all you need to do is go holler at a reputable wealth management advisor. Give 'em your long term goals and let them manage your money and flip that shit into long dough.
