I could understand and have compassion for why cuzzo has to live in conflict
u literally talmbout being in a religion that basically says u are wrong for even existing
and if u are black than typically u know how much the "church" is in our collective culture to varying degrees
he getting flak from the lgbt community for his hypocrisy......and he basically being threatened to be outcast by the same churchy folks he literally pledged his soul for in order to be part of that group
we quick to make jokes but mofos should be allowed to just be themselves in the end

That shit is why alot of the depression and self hate from lgbt teens who grow up in and around the church is so prominent. Imagine being told damn near weekly that simply for existing as you are you're doomed to eternal damnation. Or that God don't make mistakes but you still feel an attraction towards the same sex...so now are you the mistake God made? That's alot of shut for anyone to try and deal with

and that there is the hypocrisy of church/christianity............God don't make a mistake so why can't a gay person be counted as someone made in God's image
so it's fucked up that a group so religious can't embrace the same people in so much internal turmoil
if cuzzo wasn't serious about his faith it would be easy to just say fuck it and live the way he really wants
but ironically the more sincere a gay person is about their faith, then the more fucked up they feel about themselves

One of my friends who is gay is very religious and i know as humans we all hold conflicting view points to some extent but i have never understood how he's been able to maintain his faith that tells him he ain't shit. We've had multiple discussions about it over the years and i still don't get how he does it.

He needs to just be free but I'm sure that's easier said than done for him.. Also, if I'm not mistaken he was molested as a child.. Which is common for alot of gay men, but many don't want to speak on that.. Same thing happened to Tyler Perry, he should just come out too.. But his biggest supporters are from the church too so I'm sure he's facing the same struggle
