How would you grade your 2017?

Got rid of a bad relationship.

Made good money, sacrificed making more to help family.

Made a few bad investments.

Made some great connections across the country.

Gained 25lbs I didn't need.

Starting new year with a plan, and money to execute.

IDK... I feel like this year was exactly what it needed to be.. I had goals, accomplished them, made more money, and set myself up for some great things to come.. Lost a few times and had some bad times but who doesn't.. I learned alot about myself.. TBH, I let a situation set alot of shit back for me over the last 10 years.. For the first time, I'm beyond that.. Shit is so much clearer now

but my shit was a C because i became too busy with too much shit...

had surgery
family member had an amputation and i stayed with her for like 4-5 weeks. that in turn slowed things down.

didnt pay off a debt as fast as i thought i would...because i got sidetracked with new shit that dropped in my lap and had to take advantage off.

didnt take enough me time.....but to make matters worse....@chicity left me with a homo in front of the alps in my avi to end the year....and i cant fight back.

- I made to top 10 in the entire district of my company in terms of performance (first black man too), and got a major promotion, in my first quarter I still hit all major goals and did better than expected.

- made a ton of money

- elevated my swagger ten fold (no one can best me in a suit and tie), even my watch and shoe game is crazy dope

- all my homies and closest friends on my team also had an amazing year

- got more bitches than I've ever had

- all of my Investment choices and picks did absolutely incredible with one of them being taken over by another company

- won a dozen achievements and accolades

- became much more of a disciplinarian

- became an even better boxer, my stamina and cardio is out of this world, my precision is incredible and power, form and technique is phenomenal as well

- also got to design a watch for Fossil the watch company


There's more but I think this will suffice...

Overall 2016 was a great year for me and I thought my best on record but 2017 blew it out of the water as an even better year. The year 2018 is going to be an even better year, I'm doing way more things and the focus is sharper. My motto this year is BELIEF. One must believe in themselves, their goals and that anything is possible to achieve if you have faith.

The most high blessed us with another year of life. Most of us are healthy and we are allowed to make changes. I think the fact that we can recap and rate a year means we all had great years.

I was joking about the trappin and being rich. Im saying D cuz this year went by way too fast. Like a blur. I dont have any more issues than last year but i didnt make any significant changes besides weight loss. 2018 i need to just jump.

This online clothing store I was on had prints too and this was one of em. Thought it was hilarious but I ain't got nowhere to put it in the house lol so I made it the avi
 
Giving myself an A this year:

Professionally
- Gained a promotion this year. Became one of the software leads on a project (only black lead on the project)
- Did a butt load of traveling
- Received a nice raise
- Received an award for my performance

Personnally
- purchased a new home
- became debt free (except for my home)

2018 will be about getting myself straight personally and enjoying life more. Getting back in the gym, personal traveling, getting back to what I use to be on the piano/keys, and properly investing my money will be my main goals for the new year
 
I’d say a c+

I’m hard on myself cause I know I should be doing a 100x better

But shit I got a better job making 2 times more money. My daughter is well taken care of and smart as hell. I’m soaking up game from people who on they shit

Fell in love with somebody and basically got played but I ain’t gon cry in the car. I honestly feel like ‘18 gon be even better. I just gotta make more good decisions and press the line
