Im one of the few that still buys CDs, though the actual quality of CD's has fallen due to the lack of demand...

Its annoying CDs are an after thought for artists now though, if they even drop a project on CD its usually months after the release, I used to try hold out listening to a project until I copped the physical...

Most CDs are Digipaks now too with minimal or no booklets and artwork, I miss the days of the jewel case joints and when artists put in effort with their booklets etc

Cars these days don't have CD players

probably not. Only thing I have to play cds on in my house is my Xbox and I rather stream Spotify while I game. Buying cds is very pointless now unless you just building a collection

I honestly don’t know why major artist don’t charge for their new releases on these streaming platforms. I would’ve paid an extra $10 for Nas’ Magic. I think if Drake or Beyoncé or any other major/legacy artist released a new album that was purchase only for the first 30 days, a lot of people would spend that bread.
