How much is vehicle registration in your city?

Is that on top of property taxes? Here in NC you have to have an inspection ($30), pay the registration ($28), and pay the taxes (depends on vehicle value).

Taxes on my new truck was almost $500. For my son’s 2013 civic about $115.
