It's because android doesn't even bother to manage tabs properly. I've been looking for a setting to automatically close tabs when I'm done, but couldn't find anything.

Thankfully phones these days are crazy optimized to deal with it. So I just ignore it.

Facts but I got about 3hunna+ open right now
The porn ones are the worst.
Every time I try to close one (because really and truly I open them thinking I'll be interested in them later which never happens) I end up hitting another tab from the related vids thinking it's something I might wanna see later

Sometimes I get mad and close hundreds of tabs at one time then later I wonder what if I mixed in something important. So now I got a whole bunch of shit open just in case....
